<\/span>Age Limit – UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Candidates must have attained 21 years<\/strong> and not more than 32 years as on January 01, 2027<\/strong>. This means candidates should have been born not earlier than January 02, 1995, and not later than January 01, 2006<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Age relaxation is provided as per Government rules: up to 5 years for SC\/ST candidates, up to 3 years for eligible OBC candidates, and up to 10 years for eligible PwBD candidates, along with relaxations for Ex-Servicemen\/ECOs\/SSCOs as prescribed in the official notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection process for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2027 comprises three distinct stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/span>Stage-I \u2013 Preliminary Examination<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The Preliminary Examination carries a total of 400 marks<\/strong> and consists of two objective-type papers. There will be negative marking, with one-third of the marks assigned to a question deducted<\/strong> for each incorrect answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
