- 1. Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed the 10th Standard (SSC) from a government-recognized board.
- 2. Language Proficiency
- Candidates must have knowledge of both Gujarati and Hindi languages.
- 3. Cooking Expertise
- Candidates must be proficient in cooking, including:
- Knowledge of various spices and herbs and their appropriate use.
- Knowledge of multi-cuisine, including Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian, Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian, Chinese, Continental, Italian, and all types of fast food.
- Ability to cook for large numbers of people proportionally (without waste), maintaining taste, decoration, and cleanliness.

The selection process will consist of two stages, each with 50 marks:

1. Verification through Interview (50 Marks)
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the documents submitted in the application.

- A minimum of 40% marks in the Interview is required to be called for the Cooking Skill Test.
2. Cooking Skill Test (50 Marks)
A minimum of 50% marks in the Cooking Skill Test is required to be considered for the Select List.
3. Final Select List
The Select List will include candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks in the total of the Interview and Cooking Skill Test, based on merit and their respective category.
