Educational Qualification – JNV Banaskantha

• Dance Expert: Expert-Certificate/Diploma in any of the Indian Classical/folk Dance from a recognized university.

• TGT (Computer Science):

1. Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution OR Graduation in Computer Science/IT from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and also in aggregate, provided that the computer science subject must be studied in all the years as a main subject OR BE/B.Tech. (Computer Science/Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution.
2. Essential: Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India.
3. Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Education from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks OR Three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution including B.Ed. component.

• TGT (Art):

1. Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting / Sculpture / Graphic Art / Fine Arts from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks, provided that the candidates should have studied Drawing and Painting as Main subject in all the years of graduation.
2. Essential: B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

• Hostel Superintendent:

1. Educational Qualification: (a) Essential Academic Qualification— Graduation in any discipline. (b) Desirable Academic Qualification: a Master’s degree/B.Ed.
2. Proficiency: Proficiency in regional language (no documentary evidence required).
3. Work Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in pay level 5 or above of 7th CPC (or equivalent scale) in any recognized residential school OR Minimum 07 years’ experience on consolidated pay not less than 29200/- per month in any recognized residential school. OR Ex-defense personnel having work experience of maximum 05 years in pay level 5 or above of the 7th CPC. & Minimum 03 years of experience required, in case of worked in JNVs.

Age Limit – JNV Banaskantha

• The maximum age limit for most posts is 50 years.
• For Hostel Superintendent: Minimum Age at the time of Engagement: 35 Years. Maximum Age: 62 Years as on 01.06.2026.
