• Possess basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services and Recruitment (General) Rules, 196.
• Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages.

Age Limit – GSSSB SA & RA Recruitment

As of September 23, 2026, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 37 years old. Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules:

After five years of satisfactory service, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment as per the 7th Pay Commission norms.

Selection Process – GSSSB SA & RA Recruitment

The selection process will involve a competitive examination conducted using the MCQ-CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) / OMR method. The exam will consist of two parts:

Part-A (90 Marks):

• Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 30 Questions, 30 Marks
• Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Questions, 30 Marks
• Constitution of India: 10 Questions, 10 Marks
• Current Affairs: 10 Questions, 10 Marks
• Comprehension (Gujarati & English): 10 Questions, 10 Marks

Part-B (120 Marks):

• Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
• Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Qualifying Standard: Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in both Part-A and Part-B independently to qualify.

A provisional merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained, and candidates approximately two times the number of vacancies will be called for document verification.
