CSIR NEIST DR & MTS Result : The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST), Jorhat, has released the result for the Driver (DR) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment under Advt. No. 01/2026-REC on 25 September 2026.

CSIR NEIST DR & MTS Result : Two separate notifications have been issued – one listing candidates provisionally recommended for the next stage of the Driver recruitment, and another listing candidates provisionally recommended to appear for the written examination for the MTS post. How to Check Your Name in the CSIR-NEIST Result List

1. Open the official notification. Visit www.neist.res.in and go to the recruitment/careers section, or open the direct PDF links for Driver and MTS shared below.
2. Search for your Application ID. Both lists are arranged by Application ID in ascending order – use your browser’s “Find” (Ctrl+F) function and type your Application ID.
3. Check which list you appear in. If your ID is in the “Provisionally Recommended” list, note your serial number.
4. If it is in the “Not Recommended” list, read the reason mentioned against your name.
5. Note that recommendation is provisional.
6. As stated in the notification, the candidature of all shortlisted candidates is provisional and subject to verification of testimonials.

How to Submit a Representation (Objection) Against the Result

Candidates who wish to raise an objection against the committee’s recommendation can submit a representation online.

1. Go to the CSIR-NEIST Representation Portal for the relevant post (Driver or MTS – links below).
2. Fill in the required details as asked on the portal.
3. Attach self-attested documentary proof supporting your representation.
4. Submit the representation on or before 10 October 2026.

Important: As per the notification, no representation will be entertained after 10.10.2026, so candidates should not wait until the last moment.
