NFSU Recruitment 2025-26 : National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a notification (Advt. The recruitment drive is for the following posts:

Eligibility Criteria NFSU Recruitment 2025-26

1. Senior Scientific Officer (Level 10)

• Age Limit: Not more than 40 years.
• Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology / Psychology / Criminology / Neuropsychology etc.
• Experience: 2 years for Ph.D. holders OR 5 years for Master’s degree holders.

2. Junior Scientific Officer (Level 7)

• Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.
• Qualification (Happiness/Wellbeing): Master’s in Psychology/Criminology/Forensic Psychology OR Forensic Science with specialization + 3 Years Experience.
• Qualification (Multimedia): B.E./B.Tech (CSE/ECE/IT etc.) OR Master’s in CS/IT/Forensic Science + 3 Years Experience.
• Qualification (DNA): Master’s in Zoology/Microbiology/Biotech/Forensic Science OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology + 3 Years Experience.

3. Senior Scientific Assistant (Level 6)

• Age Limit: Not more than 30 years.
• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (CSE/ECE/IT etc.) OR Master’s in CS/IT/Physics/Forensic Science (Cyber/Digital).

4. Laboratory Assistant (Level 5)

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, Criminology, etc.

Application Fee

1. General / EWS / OBC: ₹ 500/- + GST & Transaction Charges.
2. SC / ST / PwBD / Women: Exempted (No Fee).
3. The fee is Non-Refundable.

Selection Process

• For Senior Scientific Officers (Post Sr. No. 1 & 2): Selection will be based on overall record and performance in the Interview. A screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates.
• For JSO, SSA, and Lab Assistant (Post Sr. No. 3 to 7): Selection will be based on the merit of marks obtained in the Written Test.
