IBPS Clerk Recruitment : IBPS has indicated state-wise and category-wise vacancies for the Customer Service Associate post across 11 participating banks in Annexure-I of the notification. The vacancies are described as indicative and anticipated, and the final numbers depend on actual requirements reported by the participating banks closer to the provisional allotment stage. Union Bank of India’s vacancies are marked “NR” (Not Reported) in every state/UT, so the totals below understate the true final vacancy count.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility conditions below are the basic criteria for applying. IBPS clarifies that qualifying in the CRP and being provisionally allotted to a bank does not guarantee employment – the concerned bank retains the final say on appointment.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment Age Limit
The standard age limit is 20 to 28 years as on 01.08.2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available to reserved categories as follows:

IBPS Clerk Recruitment Application Fee
The application fee (inclusive of GST) must be paid online between 01.08.2026 and 21.08.2026:
- SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates: ₹175
- All other candidates: ₹850
Bank transaction charges for online payment are to be borne by the candidate. Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, or UPI. A correction fee of ₹200 (inclusive of GST) applies if a candidate uses the Edit Window to modify the submitted application.

The Customer Service Associate is eligible for allowances and perquisites as per the rules of the participating bank in force from time to time. Exact take-home pay after allowances is not specified in the notification, since it varies bank to bank.

- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Class X certificate with DOB)

- Graduation mark-sheets and degree certificate

- Caste certificate in the prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates)
- Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS candidates)
- Disability certificate in the prescribed format (for PwBD candidates)

How to Apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026
Candidates can apply online only – no other mode of application is accepted.
- Visit the official IBPS website www.ibps.in and open the “CRP CSA” link, then click “Click Here to Apply Online for CRP – Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XVI)”.
- Click “Click Here for New Registration” and enter basic details to generate a provisional registration number and password (also sent by email/SMS).
- Upload the required scanned documents: photograph, signature, left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th standard or equivalent certificate, and the certificate mentioned in Clause K(ix) if applicable – as per the specifications in Annexure IV of the notification.
- Carefully fill in all sections of the online application form using the “Save and Next” facility to verify details before final submission, since most fields cannot be edited after submission.
- Indicate the State/UT for which you want to be considered for provisional allotment – this choice is irrevocable once submitted.
- Pay the application fee/intimation charges online through the integrated payment gateway (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/IMPS/Wallets/UPI).
- On successful payment, take a printout of the e-receipt and the completed application form for your records.
Final Though
Fields such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, State/UT (vacancy, correspondence and permanent address), Post, and Nationality cannot be edited after submission. A 2-day Edit Window is provided after the registration closing date to correct other details, for a fee of ₹200; dates for this window will be announced separately on the official website. Not more than one application is allowed per candidate; in case of multiple applications, only the latest completed one is considered valid. Any resulting dispute is subject to the sole jurisdiction of courts situated at Mumbai. Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
